Your being in the minority in this particular forum didn't mean that you were discriminated against just because the majority of attendees were different than you.<br /><br />I'm reminded of going to a gay club with a female friend for the first time, and the lack of attention towards her translated to small complaints about how this or that wouldn't happen in a straight club--mainly, that dudes just brushed by her, bartenders didn't rush to fill her drink order, etc.<br /><br />Know your venue.
